Ink Finance Blurb for AVAX-from Q&A with the Alliance Dao ALL7 Avalanche Projects
Ink Finance offers SaaS for no-code financial DAO governance. In particular, it enables DAOs to issue financial products in order to raise capital from DeFi investors.
While DAOs may hold important NFTs in their GameFi metaverses, their value is difficult for investors to reason about. Ink Finance allows these DAOs to repackage them into financial products such as convertible bonds or funds, enabling retail investors to engage.
For instance, if a space game developer wants to build a fleet of space crafts, which are expensive NFTs, a lease portfolio is a perfect solution. Though DeFi investors might not be the players, all they need to know is that the DAO will build them, secure them, lease them, collect lease payments, and eventually liquidate them. This is akin to financial investors’ view of an aircraft fleet leased to an airline company.
DAOs need money to grow, they can use INK to issue common financial products to finance their assets. Ink bridges these asset producers and the DeFi investors, essentially turning them into their own investment or corporate bankers.
Even though INK is built to be cross-chain, we chose to put our main facility on Avalanche, for the following reasons.
- Avalanche is blazing fast, which paves a long ramp for a protocol like INK to scale;
- Avalanche charges low gas which serves INK’s users well in their governance operations, such as proposing, voting, and auditing, etc;
- Avalanche has a coherent DeFi cluster that can provide all sorts of liquidity needed by Ink’s DAO users looking for funding, which lies at the heart of INK’s proposition of financial governance.
